Coming in the fall of 2008, the MedShow™ - www.medshow.com - is a medical education-based portal currently in beta launch. The portal is currently in development and has signed The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Ohio State University Medical Center as the founding University.

The MedShow portal's mission is to help fulfill the projected physician shortages, which have been estimated to reach as high as 85,000 to 225,000 physicians by 2020. The goal is to help students see the fulfillment and joy associated with choosing to become a physician, as well as to offer them a single site that they can rely on to help them through the process.

The MedShow will deliver college-bound students, college students, medical students, residents, fellows, medical educators and practicing physicians community by providing a single site that can be used to network, mentor, research, learn and be entertained. An important part of the MedShow portal will be unique content, such as webisode series, documentaries and user-generated content that can be accessed through the Internet, or pushed to mobile devices.
